Romance Novels as Christmas Gifts

Not sure what to get your loved one for Christmas?

One good romance novel beats another scented candle. Slip it under the tree and someone disappears into a better world for a few hours.

Choosing one doesn’t have to be hard. Here’s a short list that works. Nothing overblown. Just books people actually finish and press into friends’ hands.

The Kiss Quotient – Helen Hoang

Stella’s a mathematician who’s great with numbers, terrible with dating. She hires Michael, an escort, to teach her about intimacy. What starts as lessons turns real—fast.

The Theory of Attraction – Delphine Dryden

Ivan’s a rocket scientist who speaks in data points. Cami’s his neighbor who speaks in safe words. A weekend “research project” on dominance and submission becomes the best experiment either of them never published.

A Court of Thorns and Roses – Sarah J. Maas

Feyre kills the wrong wolf and gets hauled into a faerie court where masks hide more than faces. This slow-burn romance is the first of five books.

If you’re looking for more in the same vein, I write contemporary romance with sharp dialogue. You can find them here.

Pair any of these with a bookmark and a bar of chocolate. You’ve just handed over an inexpensive gift they’ll still be thinking about in January.
